Tesla fault codes
Generic OBD2 codes work the same on this brand. Brand-specific codes depend on model and year.
How to read them
Use a basic OBD2 reader for generic codes. Brand-specific modules, such as airbag, comfort or transmission, usually need a multi-system scanner.
We don't have a reliable list of brand-specific Tesla codes yet, and we prefer not to publish guesses. Generic codes work normally. For other codes, use a scanner that supports the brand or ask a specialist.
