P0C74: Motor Electronics Coolant Pump B Control Performance

P0C74 is the performance check for coolant pump B of the motor electronics, found on vehicles with a second electric pump in the power electronics cooling. The controller compares how the pump should run with how it actually runs and stores the code when the two disagree for longer than calibrated. Stellantis is the only maker found documenting it by code: for 2023-2024 Jeep Renegade and Compass 4xe with the 1.3 L plug-in hybrid, bulletins 08-165-24, 08-193-24 and 08-064-25 cure a lit MIL with P0C74 by flashing new software into the hybrid controller and the power inverter module, with no parts replaced. Where software is current, air in the loop, a worn or blocked pump and wiring faults remain. Pump A uses P0C73, pump C P2BD7.
