No manufacturer documents this code publicly. The equivalent electrical code is in real use for lower letters, for example P2709 for shift control solenoid valve F on the 2017 and 2018 Genesis G80 and G90 8-speed, where Hyundai's bulletin 21-AT-016HG calls for harness checks and solenoid replacement. Ford fails a solenoid electrically when the driver feedback disagrees with the command for 0.5 to 5 seconds. CARB requires the circuit check. P08E3 to P08E6 are the detailed codes, P08E2 the intermittent one.
