P0995: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch F Circuit High

The signal of pressure sensor or switch F stays high: with a normally closed switch the contacts stay open, which looks like permanent pressure, or the wire is open or shorted to voltage. No manufacturer documents this use publicly. Hyundai/Genesis bulletins 17-AT-001-G and 21-AT-016HG list P0995 in their subject lines, but their tables pair it with Auto Shift Manual Mode Circuit (SBC), and 21-AT-016HG prints the DTC as P095500; this is a misprint for P0955 and does not count as a use of P0995. GM's matching switch E code P0990 is a Special No Trip without MIL; Saab's 9-4X text treats an open and a short to voltage alike as high. CARB requires such checks on transmission inputs. P0994 is the low side.
