P09A0: Shift Solenoid G Control Circuit/Open

Open circuit or general circuit fault in the drive of shift solenoid G. It is a late addition to J2012: older code lists still show P09A0 to P09FF as reserved. No manufacturer was found to document it. The known users of the G block send opens elsewhere: Mitsubishi's 2019 six-speed reports an open low-reverse brake shift solenoid as P099C, Nissan's RE0F11A CVT lists only P099B/P099C, and Hyundai/Genesis use P075A and P075D for their on/off solenoid G. Ford shows the usual split for solenoids A to E, with the open in the base code (P0750 and so on) and separate ground and power shorts. CARB requires every transmission output to be checked for circuit continuity. P099A to P099C are performance, low and high.
