P0E67: Battery Charger Control Circuit High

P0E67 is set when the charger command line reads higher than commanded, for instance close to battery voltage while the control unit is holding it off. A short to a live wire is the classic cause; with some driver designs an open line also floats high and lands here. The risk is the reverse of P0E66: depending on how the signal is defined, the charger may see a permanent request and try to start, or the module may stop charging as a precaution. No manufacturer documents P0E67 publicly. GM covers the line in the 2016 Volt (VICM) only with the general code P0E65, Type B, 30 of 40 samples at 25 ms. CARB expects a plug-in hybrid to detect charger malfunctions that disable or restrict charging, which applies here as well.
