P0ED7 is the general current code for phase Y, the middle phase of the generator's X-Y-Z set. Without being narrowed to low (P0ED8) or high (P0ED9), it says that the Y current no longer behaves as the inverter controller expects. No manufacturer documents P0ED7 publicly, and it is not known which production machines label their phases X, Y and Z. Ford describes what phase currents are used for in its 2019 hybrids: sensors on each phase feed the motor/generator control unit, which needs them to work out current magnitude and angle and also to confirm that the three AC cables are connected the right way.
