P2695: Cylinder 10 Injector Data Incompatible

P2695 is reserved for the injector in cylinder 10, the highest cylinder number the J2012 series provides with its own data code. A ten-cylinder engine with individually coded injectors would be needed to set it, and none of the public OBD summaries reviewed here contains it: GM's 2025 V8 diesel table 25OBDG04A and Ford's 2023 diesel summary both stop at cylinder 8. CARB's rule that the stored code should, where feasible, identify the wrongly compensated injector explains why the series reaches this far. Engines with more than ten cylinders have to fall back on P2696. On ordinary cars and trucks P2695 is very unlikely to appear and should first be verified with a second tool.

Medium severity. Can I keep driving?Drive as little as possible and go to a repair shop. If you smell fuel or the engine is shaking badly, do not keep driving.

Cylinder 10 is numbered according to the manufacturer: check your engine's manual before working on it.
