P0C67: Generator Position Sensor Circuit A High

With P0C67 the controller sees circuit A of the generator resolver stuck above its upper limit. On the 2023 Outlander PHEV Mitsubishi assigns it to the sine winding and trips it once that voltage stays at or above 4.900 V for 0.21 s; the check runs continuously while the generator control unit has 8 V or more. Note the uneven window, since the lower limit is 2.0 V. A lead shorted to a supply potential is the textbook cause, and depending on the input stage an open line can also float high. The Bosch patent on resolver short detection separates both short types by the averaged line potential. Mitsubishi's repair path matches P0C66 and ends with a new power drive unit or generator. P0C6C is the matching cosine code.
